Health and Safety
The Health and Safety of our employees is a priority here at TWD. As such, we have a designated health and safety division, run by Darryl Harbour. Darryl is qualified to deliver onsite training for:
Abrasive Wheels
Asbestos Awareness
Lone Working
Manual Handling
Working at Height
FaceFit Testing
CAT & Genny
All engineers receive their mandatory training upon employment in these five courses. Refresher courses are then run at yearly intervals in order to make sure knowledge is fresh and current.
Toolbox Talks are run monthly as we respond to the needs of the business and our clients to determine the key topics that we cover. We also ensure every new engineer receives the Mental Health Awareness and Duty of Care toolbox talks within their induction day.
Both Darryl Harbour and Sacha Burek are trained Mental Health First Aiders to enable them to provide support across the business when the need arises.
