From January the 1st 2019, TWD were awarded all responsive repairs throughout all Stagecoach bus depots in London, and have recently completed repairs at their depot in Hackney. We had our work cut out for us, with a mass blockage due to a pump failure, causing waste to flood the depot floor. As a result of this, the stack pipe was holding water and became defective and loose from the wall. However, there’s no job too big or small for our excellent team of drainage, plumbing and groundwork engineers!
Our Method:
Our tanker was on site promptly to pump out all foul waste from the pump pits in the bus depot to allow for our pump engineer to overhaul the waste pumps.
The complexity of this job became evident when we had to repair the main stack pipe, taking all of the waste from the building and refix to ensure there will be no further issues. This is where our experienced drain repairs team showed why they’re the best in the business. We were able to complete this repair in a timely and cost effective manor, leaving plenty of time for our talented groundwork team to renew the concrete around the pump pit on the depot floor and make good all of the effected areas.
Massive thanks to everyone involved with this repair and we look forward to working closely with Stagecoach in the future!
