Our Drainage Manager, James ‘Fish’ Hammatt has gained his IOSH Managing Safely accreditation! The course develops the legal, moral and social duties of his role and enables him to give guidance on how to control the workforce in accordance with current health and safety best practice. 

The 3-day course covers recognising commonly-found workplace hazards and knowing how to control them, determining why accidents involving injury or damage occur. In addition, it explains how aspects of human behaviour can affect health and safety at work, how to apply principles of good health and safety management, how to communicate effectively and ensure health and safety law is obeyed.
